About the store
Hello! I’m Miranda, the founder of CAP Kids, established in 2020. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Foundation Phase) and completed two additional years of specialised study in Early Childhood Development. With over 10 years of teaching experience, I’m passionate about creating accessible, engaging learning experiences for young children; especially those in the early years.
I’m also a homeschool mom, which gives me a unique perspective on the challenges and joys of learning at home. This dual lens, classroom and home, shapes the way I design resources that are practical, creative, fun and easy to use.
Outside of education, I’m a proud dog mom to three rescue pups, Abigail, Bruce and Isabella, and deeply value the love and support of my family. They’re my greatest inspiration.

I use active learning to make learning fun, engaging and memorable, incorporating sensory rich experiences as often as possible. "Tell me and I forget, involve me and I learn."
