About the store
👋 Hi there! I’m Cara, and I’m passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology, I have a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, which I’ve applied through various research projects, national conference presentations, and mentoring underclassmen during my educational journey. My professional experience includes valuable roles in nonprofit organizations, where I worked closely with adults with disabilities, and in education administration, helping to create supportive environments for learning. I believe in the power of community and collaboration! As a proud mother of two—an adventurous daughter and a curious son—I find immense joy in guiding and supporting young people. For the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of being a Girl Scout leader, where I not only mentor girls but also serve on the Service Unit team as the Annual Fund Chair. I’m honored to have received several awards and recognitions in my roles within Girl Scouts, reflecting my commitment to fostering leadership and community service. I’m excited to connect with others who share my passion for empowerment, education, and creating lasting change! Let’s inspire the next generation together! 🌟

Additional biographical information

I have a deep passion for creating in various forms, whether it’s through my skills as a seamstress, my love for crafting, or, more recently, through digital mediums. Each of these creative outlets allows me to express my ideas and connect with others in meaningful ways. As a seamstress, I enjoy transforming fabric into beautiful, functional pieces, bringing a sense of artistry and craftsmanship to everyday items. I love to create clothing, bags, and even put my skills to use by simply sewing Girl Scout badges and patches onto my daughter's vest. My interest in crafting opens up a world of possibilities, where I can experiment with different materials and techniques to create unique projects that inspire and delight. I love to work with paper, clay, watercolor paints, and so much more. In recent years, I’ve expanded my creative pursuits into the digital realm. I’m particularly passionate about developing content that offers children unique, hands-on educational experiences. Whether it’s crafting engaging lesson plans, interactive activities, or fun DIY projects, my goal is to make learning enjoyable and accessible for young minds. Additionally, I strive to create digital tools and resources that empower others, particularly those involved in Girl Scout leadership. I understand the challenges that leaders face, and I’m dedicated to providing them with practical solutions and creative ideas to enhance their programs. By combining my love for crafting with my desire to educate, I hope to inspire confidence and creativity in both children and leaders alike.
