About the store
I taught for 10 years before choosing to stay home with my 3 beautiful children! Our middle child, was born with Cystic Fibrosis and it was important for me to give her the best life she can! For the first three years, I taught a self contained third grade class at a very At-Risk school. For the last 7 years of my career, I taught fifth grade reading, writing and social studies. I look forward to creating more products that will help aid your teaching in the classroom.

Teaching style

Hands-on, minds-on learning with the integration of Common Core State Standards; learning is an interactive process. I believe that we are all life-long learners. I always try to share my passion for learning with my students and hope they are able to foster that same passion.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Graduating summa cum laude for my undergraduate and graduate degrees.

My own education history

I graduated in 2010 from the University of Kentucky with my Bachelors degree in K-5 Elementary Education. December 2015, I graduated from University of the Cumberlands with my masters and specialization as a K-12 Literacy Specialist.
