About the store

Experience

I have been teaching for 18 years. The majority of my teaching experience and my LOVE is with ELA! I am always looking for ways to inspire children to appreciate reading, language, and writing.

Teaching style

I would describe my teaching as well-planned and interactive. I always say that if I am tired at the end of the day, I did all the work. I make sure my students are engaged and active in their learning, so they are tired! My students would describe me as a "grammar nerd" and laugh when I get excited about reading essays!

Awards & shining teacher moments

The highest honor I can receive is when a student tells me they love reading because of my class.

My own education history

Bachelors of Science: MTSU Masters in Education: Cumberland University Masters in Administration: Union College
