I am entering my 12th year in education. 11 of those years have been spent in middle school, and this year I make my move up to high school! I will be teaching Foundations of Algebra and Algebra 1 this school year.
Graphic organizer to guide students through solving one-step inequalities! Begins with a quick review section to remind student what type of circles each symbol should have (open or closed), as well as, a solving one-step equations review to help them apply the same skills (using the inverse operation) to solve the inequality! Also includes to word problems to build and solve with students, enjoy! :)
I gave my students a challenge to count up specific different types of candy that they collected (on Halloween), so that the next day we (as a class) could use the data to create a graph and find the different measures of center and variability.
This quick quiz/check will help you see what rules your students know or still need help reviewing. The following quiz has 5 tables for the students to complete. Answer key is also attached!
