Teaching style
As a teacher who is constantly learning herself, I strive to be open-minded to new ideas and new ways of motivating learners. I enjoy giving students the opportunity to be creative and explore new ideas. My teaching style allows students with all different backgrounds celebrate their differences while still working together as a team.

I was honored to be considered as a "Top Teacher of Promise" while student teaching in college.
I have successfully been evaluated as a "Highly Effective Teacher" for many years of my teaching career.
I have been blessed to not only teach but coach a running club, tutor and support activities within our community.
My own education history
I always enjoyed school when I was young. I had many teachers that instilled a loving for learning as I continued to grow and mature. I quickly knew that I was a visual learner and for that reason, I have designed different activities and lessons that help students with a similar learning style. As I grew up, I found that I struggled with test anxiety. As a teacher, it is important for me to help students any way I can in order to minimize this struggle they may also share. I was thrilled to be accepted into college, and credit a lot of my teaching success to my previous professors. Education is truly priceless.
