I have taught Elementary, middle, and high school students for over 20 years.
As a teacher, I have found myself short of resources to use in the classroom with my lessons and with little money to pay for expensive resources offered out there.
It is my intention to offer quick and very affordable resources for teachers to use with their lessons.

International Traditional Clothing Project
Have your students shine, learn, and have fun, while showing traditional clothing from different countries around the world. This project is intended to develop in the students cultural and global awareness. They understand that we are a diverse world and that respect for our differences is a need and a must. The project also asks the students to create a visual essay (collage) and a fact sheet on the country assigned to them. Rubrics are provided for the costume, collage, and fact sheet.

International Typical Clothing Project
This project was created for the International Education Week in 2010.
This is a traditional clothing project that required the students to create and dress like people do in different countries around the world.
Pictures of the students' products were sent to the U.S. Department of State International Education Week office, and one those pictures was used this year by the U.S. Dept. of State on their International Education Week main page.

My own education history
I hold a Bachelor's in Elementary Education from Universidad Santo Tomas Bogota, in Bogota, Colombia; I also hold a Master's in Educational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Graduate Certificate in Academically & Intellectually Gifted Education from Duke University.
