In this fun, interactive lesson students will apply important poetic terminology to popular music. Each song has a clear reference to the word. There is a worksheet where students can write their answers - plus a fun activity at the end of the slideshow. Students will be dancing in their seats with this fun lesson!
Do your students groan every time you tell them they are going to write poetry? Try mixing it up and have fun with this poetry activity. Stations are not just for elementary students anymore! This activity is easily able to be manipulated to fit your poetry needs.
Have students review important literary terms while applying them to their favorite book, short story, or movie.
