This document includes examples and problems that will help students understand Scratch as well as develop critical thinking skills.

In order to fully understand the motion blocks in Scratch, students must be able to use a graph. This document is a short exercise where students will locate objects on a graph. This graph worksheet focuses on the positive coordinates.

This project can be used with station rotation or as whole group instruction. For station rotation, start with direct instruction before splitting the students into collaborative and independent stations. In the direct instruction, go over key safety such as not touching the dry ice. Students in the collaborative station will freeze fruits and candy in the dry ice (supervised by the teacher).
