Carrie Rosebrock is the founder and lead consultant for Rosebrock Consulting. She is a former PLC leader and English curriculum coach for top school district in the state of Indiana. She is the co-author of Arrows: A Systems-Based Approach to School Leadership, and she currently supports 20+ districts and organizations through alignment processes. The key component of ensuring thriving PLCs is to equip and support teacher leaders through the process. As a PLC herself, she understands the delicate balance needed from teacher leaders who guide these conversations. Simple PLC Agenda (Editable Google Doc)
Though there are various formats for PLC agendas (I've seen sheets, physical paper, slides, and forms) my favorite is a simple Google Doc with very little pizazz or fanfare. If school teams start with a simple format, teachers are then able to edit/tweak to create the look they prefer (and that will definitely happen!) With this Simple PLC Agenda template, the nuts and bolts items are included--and in the order/flow that the conversation needs.
