Experience

I was a classroom teacher in Henrico County Virginia for 4 years. I taught 3 years of 4th grade and 1 year of 5th Grade. I found my passion for Technology as I began teaching, and am now an ITRT (Instructional Technology Resource Teacher) at Prince George County Public Schools. Teaching style

I believe in student-centered, data-driven instruction with the teacher as a facilitator of learning. I believe this model allows for collaboration and creativity which help to create life long learners.

My own education history

I graduated Deep Run High School in Glen Allen, VA in 2006 and then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies for Early Elementary Education and a Masters degree in Teaching.
