About the store
Nichole Carter is an experienced middle school educator with over 11 years of classroom teaching in both honors and regular Language Arts. She spent four years pioneering a flipped classroom model, reaching over 600 students in a 1:1 iPad blended learning environment. Nichole is the author of several books, including Sketchnoting in the Classroom (2019) and Creative Journaling for Teachers (2022), published through ISTE, along with other self-published titles available on Amazon. She was recognized as a 2015 PBS Digital Innovator and a Schoology Ambassador the same year. Nichole has presented nationally at AMLE, ESEA, FETC, and ISTE conferences. Currently, she serves as a middle school Language Arts TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment) for the Beaverton School District in Oregon, where she supports curriculum development, teacher professional learning, and innovative instructional practices.

I write, create, journal, research, blog, maintain websites, and love what I do. I also have a teenage daughter and how I am able to find the time for all of these things is beyond me, but I seem to be really efficient with my time!
