This book contains a fun 100 "fill in the blank" sentence for children to get creative with. This book allows students to draw/write 100 things that they would like to have, would NOT like to have, would like to smell, would NOT like to smell, etc.
These small posters show the number parts of numbers 5-10. Instead of a + sign, they are presented with the word "and" in each number sentence. Once students have firmed up the meaning of "and," you may transition to the + sign easily (and eventually the = sign). I send home these posters so that students can practice with parents/guardians. I laminate them and use them in math centers/stations as well. They may be enlarged and hung in the classroom as well.
These small posters list the number parts of 5 through 20 using the + sign. it also uses the language "the same as" so that children can easily transition to the = sign later on. Use these handouts as take home practice, laminate them to use in centers, or post them in your classroom.
Each calling card has a simple math problem to solve. Once students solve the problem, they mark the number on their LUCKY card. Math includes: tallies, doubles, basic addition, place value, etc.
