Students will attach silent e's to short vowel words to make new, long vowel words. This lesson includes pre-typed short vowel cards, pre-typed silent e cards, follow up worksheet, and fun little saying to help students remember the silent e rule. This lesson can be used as a whole group activity, center activity, one-on-one interventions, etc. Print on heavy paper or card-stock to use this lesson over and over for years to come.
