These worksheets are great practice for homophones! My kids always love cutting and gluing, so anything I give them that involves these elements makes them happy! Each worksheet has 8 sentences (4 sets of homophones) and students must choose the correct form of each homophone and paste it where it goes! It could be used in centers, whole group, or morning work.

Included in this bundle are 6 leveled worksheets (2 lower-level, 2 mid-level, 2 higher-level) to be used during centers, small group instruction, or as morning work. In the lower-level worksheets, students have to cut and paste adjectives ending in -er and -est to their place in the chart, and if they're able, use those words in sentences. I LOVE teaching fractions... and I love sorts. So this is putting together two of my favorite things!!!!!! My kids this year did a lot of sorting with fractions and it really helped. We used this one in our second week, where they had a better handle on it and could do more difficult fractions. This could be used as a standalone worksheet, or in an interactive notebook.

I struggle to teach writing, so when I started using graphic organizers to help my kids organize their information, it became a lot easier for me! On this worksheet, your students will have to find 5 words, and then fill in the blanks of sentences using those words. This activity pack includes a pre- and post-test to assess knowledge, as well as 6 worksheets/activities, including cut and glue, matching, and fill-in-the-blank. These activities could also be incorporated in an interactive notebook, if you use those in your classroom!

This would be a great center or small group activitiy for children to practice place value! There are 12 cards with different base ten blocks on them. Students have to figure out what the number is and write it on the recording sheet in standard form, expanded form, and word form. This is a sheet you can give your children who are able to read/write to complete after they've done something they shouldn't have. It asks them what they did, why they did it, why it was a bad choice, and what they'll do to make sure it doesn't happen again. It also has a place for parent signature at the bottom, for documentation purposes. I find this very effective for my kids to reflect on their behavior, and so their parents can see exactly what happened, in their own words.
