I taught 6th grade in elementary school and have also been an elementary school science specialist.

Teaching style

I think it's so important for students to find that what they're learning is relatable to them! I love helping them make connections to their lives and encourage collaboration. I have a strong desire for my students to foster critical thinking skills and like to do this through inquiry-based learning and project-based assessments. Most importantly, I believe every student has the ability to learn and succeed!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Science Education, Middle Grades.
