During the years I taught music, I needed an easy-to-use interactive staff for various rhythm and melodic activities. I also wanted a simple staff worksheet page to go with it, to use for either copying from listening activities, or composing own songs. Once I created these, I used them for SOOO many things, in all my classes from Kindergarten up to grade 6! I remember watching Bill Nye videos as a child, and find them just as  informative today as they were back then! They are simple to use digitally, even for students needing modifications. They are also easy to read except for 2 slides of reading comprehension, which can be taken out and the other slides still make sense.

When studying poetic techniques, I like to point out how song lyrics are really poems.  Middle school students are usually really into music, so this is an engaging way to get them understanding poetry! Since only a part of the mark is actually about the poetic techniques, it also gives students who don’t fully understand yet a chance to still get a decent mark.

I am a visual learner, so I absolutely LOVE graphic organizers! There are three here with a step-by-step process to help students summarize for stories, facts, or opinions. They include examples, and can be used either in print or digitally. It comes as a PDF file, and as an interactive worksheet on Google Slides.

A simple way for young students to learn about the Ten Commandments. Then when they are older, I teach them the proper wording. Has a fill-in-the-blank activity, and a word search, that use the same words. Great for primary! Download includes a printable version, a Google Slides interactive worksheet, and an answer key.

Being a visual learner myself, I absolutely LOVE graphic organizers! There are two included here, to help primary students make a summary for a story and to help plan a story. This product is simply a one-page resource to outline how to know if a situation is bullying or not. The first time I taught middle school, I created this poster to help teach my students the difference between bullying and regular arguments.  We went through MANY examples of what was what! In the future, I hope to create more posters showing all of these examples, but for now here is the original poster that I used.
