This is a two page document that can be used with a newspaper, passage, articles, etc. It allows students to dig deep and review or practice their word work skills. The second page works through other word work skills such as contractions, compound words, digraphs, alphabetical order, and more.

Children should have accountability for the quality of homework they turn in. This is a nice way to do this. I place this rubric in a page protector in their homework folder so it available for them. Other kid friendly rubrics for classwork, behavior, and clean desk will be added soon. This is an editable rubric that you can change themes, reward system, or other currencies you are comfortable with. .
