Teaching style

Clear systems, flexible tools, and practical structure—designed for real schools and real workloads. My work is grounded in systems thinking and focused on the realities of school counseling and student support. I create practical tools that help educators—especially school counselors—manage complex responsibilities related to social-emotional learning (SEL), mental health and wellbeing, and ASCA-aligned counseling programs without adding more to their plates. Rather than offering isolated activities, my resources support decision-making, planning, and follow-through across Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 systems. My resources emphasize clarity, flexibility, and sustainability. They are designed to be used immediately, adapted across grade levels and school settings, and revisited over time. At the core of my work is the belief that strong adult systems lead to better student access, consistency, and outcomes—particularly in SEL, behavior, and mental health supports—and that organization is a support, not a constraint.
