This can be used each week to increase student employment and personal responsibility. Students write homework each day, and have the option of choosing one genius choice bard option each night. The genius board can be printed on the back each week. Spelling words and vocabulary words for the week are also found here. Parent signature may be required. The genius boards change every other month.

This is an at-a-glance conferencing worksheet teachers can use to help students identify target skills to improve in their writing. It's a one page snapshot that lists strengths and weaknesses that a student is displaying in their writing. This could be kept in a writing journal or interactive notebook that students are responsible for keeping up to date and in order.
