As a Tennessee educator, it can be difficult to teach students how to write, especially when the curriculum teaches it in a way that does not prepare them for TCAP testing. The RACE method is a method that frames students' writing in order to fully answer any prompt given to them. This resource contains what each letter stands for in the method's acronym, the definition of each step, sentence stems/frames/starters, and examples of using those sentence stems.

This video contains numbers 1-25. Each number has the same announcement, "Now serving, student number __." Each number's slide lasts about 4 seconds. After each slide, you will need to pause until you are ready for the next student. It gets your students excited for when their number is called. It also keeps them listening for their number.
