Fresh out of high school, I started a position as a daycare worker. At that time, I discovered what occupational therapy was. I fell in love with the OT field.
In addition to working with children in the daycare, I have also worked as a special education paraprofessional in a moderate/severe special education classroom. With this role, I was responsible for assisting in all planning and teaching aspects within the classroom.
Throughout occupational therapy school, I worked with an organization focused on independent living for adults with developmental disabilities.

My own education history
In 2015, I graduated from Georgia Highlands College with an Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy. I then attended Kennesaw State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology December 2018. January 2019, I then began my journey of graduate school. After three (long and agonizing) years, I finally achieved my goal and received my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduating, my mind was officially set on the study path for the NBCOT. February 2021, I passed my board exam (7 months pregnant too, yikes!).
