This is a powerpoint designed for third graders. This powerpoint discusses what culture is and how it effects us. The powerpoint also discusses the influence of different cultures on our everyday lives through cuisine, language and the arts. There are links to videos as well as many pictures to give students a visual representation of different cultures.

This powerpoint talks about the parts of plants and what they do. There are slides describing the purpose and process of photosynthesis. It also describes the life cycle of a plant as well as how pollen and seeds are spread.

This is a powerpoint that discusses the life cycles of a frog, butterfly, cockroach and bird. It also discusses various adaptations such as camouflage, body coverings, hibernation and physical adaptations of a bird. It discusses predators and what adaptations help them catch prey. It also discusses how babies learn and talks about instincts and learned behaviors.

This is a graph that students use to track their progress on the STAR test. My students keep this graph in their personal data binders.
