Money Calculations Self Reflect
Useful resource all year round! Generic place value charts get confusing when students start to rename numbers. I also find it difficult to model accurately to students how to use a number expander to rename numbers as they are often too small to use at the front of the classroom. This resource provides a format similar to a number expander and I recommend printing in A3 - the colours also help represent place value houses to link to previous years learning (or help to write a number in words)
