This brochure outlines the general duties and policies for school counselors. It includes a counselors' yearly calendar, a statement about confidentiality, and guidelines for teachers regarding when to call (or not call!) the counselor.

A great tool for students to use at home. This one-page document includes a checklist for both mornings and evenings, including such items as: Do I have all of my equipment for extracurricular activities? Do I need to have any notes or forms signed by my parents? This checklist can be laminated so that students may check off items with a dry erase marker. It's great for posting at home by the door! The entire checklist could be covered as a mini-lesson in class, too.

How many "bad notes" do parents receive each week?! Tons! This "Glad Note" allows you to praise a student and make a positive home contact. You'll be surprised how far this small step goes with parent relationships. The half-page size of this document makes it easy to print, fill-out, and give away.
