Experience
I have been teaching elementary school for 20 years and I cannot believe where the time has gone. I began in first grade and spent two years there. Since then I have been teaching sixth grade, which is where my heart is.
Teaching style
I believe that being well-rounded in the classroom is the best way to reach all students. There needs to be a balance of direct teaching, student discovery, collaborative work and so on to accomodate all learning styles.

It was through these classes that I found my love for technology. It has been a wonderful tool that allowed me to engage my students in so many different ways.
