This Power Point is great for teaching, practicing or reviewing coordinate graphing in 4 quadrants. It contains a slide with pictures naming the four quadrants and a slide that has vocabulary with definitions such as coordinate plane, origin, x-axis, y-axis, and ordered pair. It also labels the parts of the plane using a picture and has a "quiz" slide for the vocabulary. In addition, there are four slides that have interactive student practice where students will plot points on graph paper

Experience

Teaching style
I believe that being well-rounded in the classroom is the best way to reach all students. There needs to be a balance of direct teaching, student discovery, collaborative work and so on to accomodate all learning styles.
My own education history
Following getting my Masters Degree, I continued my professional development by taking over 60 credits through classes at our local state college and teacher resource center. It was through these classes that I found my love for technology. It has been a wonderful tool that allowed me to engage my students in so many different ways.
