Fun nomenclature worksheet for familiarization with the Periodic Table. Answers to questions are the names of the elements as puns. IE "A container in which automobiles are stored: "Carbon" Kids enjoy it, and don't realize they are becoming more familiar with the layout of the PT. (Adapted with permission from my predecessor's activity) I removed my answer keys, as some of my students have obtained access.

Simple worksheet with binomial nomenclature practice. Using a matching activity is a nice step before having students come up with the names on their own.
