About the store

Experience

Chalk & Pixel Classroom empowers teachers with high-quality, standards-aligned digital and print resources that save time and support student confidence.

Teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered, structured, and supportive. I believe students learn best when concepts are broken into clear, manageable steps, and they are given opportunities to practice, reflect, and explain their thinking. I focus on: ~Explicit instruction paired with guided practice ~Gradual release from modeled examples to independent work ~Interactive activities that keep students engaged without overwhelming them ~Intentional scaffolding and differentiation to meet diverse learning needs I design resources that encourage students to build confidence, think critically, and take ownership of their learning—while making implementation simple and low-prep for teachers.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I’ve been fortunate to be recognized for my work in education through both teaching excellence and instructional leadership. These experiences continue to shape the way I design resources for teachers and students. Some highlights include: ~Three-time School-Level Teacher of the Year, recognizing instructional impact and student growth ~District-level administrator supporting new teachers, mentoring and guiding educators as they build strong classroom practices ~2024 Honored Listee for Who’s Who, acknowledging professional contributions in education ~Published curriculum writer for the State of Florida, contributing to standards-aligned instructional materials Beyond these recognitions, my most meaningful moments come from seeing students gain confidence and understanding, and from supporting teachers with resources that are clear, practical, and effective in real classrooms.

My own education history

I have formal training in education and curriculum design, with a focus on standards-based instruction, assessment, and differentiated learning. My educational background supports the creation of clear, effective, and classroom-ready resources for teachers and students.
