About the store
I have 20 years of experience in education: Library Media Specialist, 3rd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, and 11 years experience teaching the BEST college students! When I started my career in higher education, there were very few resources available. I spent hours and hours creating my own. I wanted to do something MORE than just use the same tired syllabus template that everyone else was using, and I still wanted to use teaching resources that had a little sparkle and creativity. This is my chance to help others transform their college courses into collaborative dynamic and engaging learning spaces.

Experience

I have 20 years of experience in education: Library Media Specialist, 3rd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, and 11 years experience teaching the BEST college students! When I started my career in higher education, there were very few resources available. I spent hours and hours creating my own. I wanted to do something MORE than just use the same tired syllabus template that everyone else was using, and I still wanted to use teaching resources that had a little sparkle and creativity. This is my chance to help others transform their college courses into collaborative dynamic and engaging learning spaces.

Teaching style

As an educator of both elementary and college-level students, my teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that the classroom must be both a dynamic and collaborative space where students not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking skills, a passion for learning, and a sense of social responsibility. I am committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment that nurtures students' intellectual curiosity while fostering meaningful relationships.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Blessed to have been voted Professor of the Year in 2024 - actually blessed to have the best students EVER who voted for me. :)

Additional biographical information

Not just a "side hustle"- just trying to help fellow teacher educators out there by sharing the resources I wish had been available when I got started.
