I have 20 years of experience in education: Library Media Specialist, 3rd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, and 11 years experience teaching the BEST college students!
When I started my career in higher education, there were very few resources available. I spent hours and hours creating my own. I wanted to do something MORE than just use the same tired syllabus template that everyone else was using, and I still wanted to use teaching resources that had a little sparkle and creativity. I have 20 years of experience in education: Library Media Specialist, 3rd grade teacher, 4th grade teacher, and 11 years experience teaching the BEST college students!
When I started my career in higher education, there were very few resources available. I spent hours and hours creating my own. I wanted to do something MORE than just use the same tired syllabus template that everyone else was using, and I still wanted to use teaching resources that had a little sparkle and creativity. Teaching style
As an educator of both elementary and college-level students, my teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that the classroom must be both a dynamic and collaborative space where students not only acquire knowledge but also develop critical thinking skills, a passion for learning, and a sense of social responsibility. I am committed to creating an inclusive and engaging environment that nurtures students' intellectual curiosity while fostering meaningful relationships.
