AP Statistics Unit 6 Anchor Picture Booklet

This is a booklet for AP Statistics Unit 6- Inference for Categorical Data: Proportions. This is comprehensive and covers major topics to help guide AP Statistics students with Free Response Questions (FRQ's) as well as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ's). I have made this in line with the TI-Nspire calculator, the PANIC, and the PHANTOMS acronyms. Just simple print the PDF front/back and fold along the dotted line. This can also be used for interactive notebooks!

Teaching style

My teaching style is chill but structured; I believe students learn best in a relaxed, supportive environment that still values clear expectations and organization. I'm personable and detail-oriented, making sure every resource is both engaging and precise. I bring passion and clarity to every lesson, helping students build confidence in math by connecting concepts to real-world reasoning and data-driven thinking.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have received a "Superstar AP Teacher" award in my district in 2023. I have also received a grant from Subaru Loves Learning in 2022 for excelling in my school.

My own education history

I received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Dallas majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies concentrating in Mathematics with foundations in Business Management and Natural Science.

Additional biographical information

Hi! I'm a high school math teacher who loves making statistics and algebra engaging and accessible for every student. I'm passionate about helping learners see the why behind the math- not just the steps. I live a wonderfully busy life as a teacher, wife to my Finnish husband, and mom to two amazing kids (plus one very spoiled dog). My classroom and my resources reflect my teaching style- chill but organized, detail-oriented, and always student-centered. When I'm not grading papers or creating lessons, you'll probably find me outdoors, enjoying Finnish coffee culture, or chasing my kids (and dog!) around the yard.
