Students will choose their own team in the March Madness tournament and find the data landmarks for the points that team scored throughout the year. Students will also be asked to create a histogram using the points the team scored throughout the year. *One modification - If you prefer you can give your students a few teams to pick from instead of allowing them to choose ANY team.

A set of 20 cards that have 10 problems and 10 answers to be paired up. Students must read the word problem, and find the correct solution as an inequality.

Students will weigh candy and find the weight per piece of candy, cost per piece of candy, and cost per gram. Students will then answers questions about their findings and use proportions to answer extension questions. ***You will need to have candy on the day of this activity as well as scales to weigh the candy (I used digital scales) *** Candy I used: smartees, M&M's, skittles, Milk Duds, and starburst.

Students will work in groups of 2-4 on a review game finding GCF and LCM. Other items needed: Dice, game pieces

Students will complete a 10 problem geometry scavenger hunt involving area of rectangles and triangles, surface area of prisms, and volume of rectangular prisms.
