This game is designed to help students practice mental and written strategies for the four operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and to become familiar with the order of these operations when more than one operation appears in a number sentence. In Australia, we use the acronym BIMDAS or BIDMAS to help us remember the order of operations: B (brackets), I (Indices), M (Multiplication) or D (Division), A (addition) and S (Subtraction).
