Fun descriptive writing center/ activity that has students describing the monster Sal. This activity has a word bank along with a graphic organizer that allows students to brainstorm then write about Sa; the monster.

This is a game that can be played before Thanksgiving break with your class. Have students work in groups to determine the price of each item on the slide. However, students have to get as close as they could to the total price without going over. The students should also pay attention to the quantity of each item.
