I created this file for my own children who are tired of cursive and really enjoy The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkein. I wanted to give them something to look forward to! It features MY handwriting (please note!). While I followed most of the cursive rules, it is idiosyncratic! My children look at my handwriting as a reference only, because they have lots of experience with cursive. You can see samples in the thumbnail previews I’ve provided to see if this is a good fit for your studen
Play this game to help your students remember the story of Elijah and the Widow at Zarephath. Play this by drawing a card on your turn (these need to be cut out and are included) and going to the space directed. If you draw a 1, 2, or 3, move that many spaces, paying attention to ladders passageways and arrows to send you back! Special cards send you to the image on the board (widow, bread, raven, etc.) Enjoy!
Get in the thankful spirit with this pack of activity pages! Go on a turkey hunt each day, create your own turkey, memorize together, practice cursive (or try it for the first time!), get ideas for group "acts of gratitude,” and go on a nature hunt! The work has been done for you and it’s all in one place! The material includes an ancient Psalm. Have fun!
This is for students and teachers alike! Spend some time together collecting “gratitudes”! Put them on slips into a jar and watch the jar fill up! OR, Start a gratitude journal. Fill it with all the things you are grateful for. Make it a daily exercise as you near Thanksgiving, or all through the fall. There are several different styles of journaling pages, including some for students who do not write yet. Enjoy!
**Transparent backgrounds! I designed these images to print on a water bottle for my son's audiologist! The classic "Carrot" speech used in pediatric audiology offices. You could use these images on a t-shirt, mug, water bottle, bag, etc!
I used this with my preschool AWANA Bible class based on the stories we learned through the year. Children completed this hunt with their parent, walking around our classroom, on the last day of class.
Use this for your homeschool and add it into your child's portfolio/scrapbook for the year! It is an image for printing and filling in the blanks by hand.
