Character Classroom

Having students create their own world is a great way to encourage creativity as well as consider many different aspects of our society. This is a very high-interest writing assignment for students as it gives kids the ability to make up their own rules! This would be a great project to incorporate with a social studies class as well. This project can be easily adapted for students of different abilities- I have done this with all abilities of students in sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.

Included is a 6 page packet (including title page and blank student summary page) book report project packet for fiction stories for grades 4-6. (This is very easily adaptable for older ages as well.) Microsoft Word format.
