Experience

After completing my Bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese, I began my teaching career in Thailand in 2018, teaching Mandarin Chinese to students of various age groups. I later moved to Australia, where I completed a Master of Teaching and continued my teaching journey in Australian schools, specialising in Mandarin Chinese and Mathematics. Over the years, I have developed and collected a wide range of teaching resources, lesson plans, and classroom activities. Through this platform, I hope to share these resources and support fellow educators in creating engaging and effective learning experiences for their students.

Teaching style

My teaching approach is centred on culture-based and game-based learning, creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences for students. I believe that language learning is most effective when students actively participate in the learning process and can connect classroom content to real-world contexts. To achieve this, I incorporate a variety of interactive activities, including hands-on tasks, cultural experiences, language immersion opportunities, and real-life simulations. These approaches help students develop not only their language skills but also their cultural understanding, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.

My own education history

I am a qualified Mandarin and Mathematics teacher with over seven years of teaching experience in Australia, delivering instruction to students across primary and secondary levels, including VCE.
