I used them as a warm up before jumping into paragraph or conversation levels.Because images are AI generated, there are a lot of opportunities for describing, storytelling, and finding absurdities in the artwork. These were created using a mix of my 5th-8th grade students. About the store

Experience

Hi! I am an SLPA working in both schools and clinic settings. I have been fortunate to have worked with some amazing SLP's over the years as I have developed my style of therapy. The products here are things that I have developed over the years for my students and for me. I've shared them with my colleagues and now am sharing them here!

Teaching style

Working in Speech Pathology I'm lucky to be able to focus on the individual student. My focus is moving them forward to the next step in their development, even if it's a tiny step, our goal is to keep moving forward.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have gotten a few awards for things like "sweetest staff member" from co-workers. I look forward to having opportunities to earn more! My favorite moments teaching are the moments when our goal "clicks" for kids. The look on their face when they get it right is why I do this job.

My own education history

I have an AS degree in Communication Disorders, as well as my SLPA license. I also have my BCAT, and am always looking for new certifications!

Additional biographical information

I love words, music and games in my personal life as well as in my practice. I live with my husband, my two kitties Rumpelstiltskin and Felix (pictured in my logo!) and my daughter when she's home visiting from college. I also love beach picnics and walking around my little town.
