This is an amazing educational activity following the teaching of fractional operations. Students receive a recipe card and follow the instructions on the top of the page to come out with a real yummy recipe. They write the measurements for each ingredient on the bottom card. After reinforcing the rules of fractions, teacher can decide to actually bake the sugar cookies or just decorate store-bought instead. Both are exciting for the students!!
