About the store

Experience

I’m a high school teacher with 3 years of experience (heading into my 4th!). I’ve taught a wide range of subjects (English, math, science) and grade levels (6th-12th grade), and I especially love designing engaging, meaningful lessons that help students reconnect with learning. Before teaching, I worked in the medical field—but I found my true calling in the classroom.

Teaching style

My teaching style is student-centered, engaging, and real-world focused. I aim to make my classroom a place where students feel seen, supported, and curious. I believe learning should feel relevant, creative, and fun (especially for students who’ve started to lose their motivation).

Awards & shining teacher moments

I've been recognized at my school for going all out during Spirit Week, but the moments that matter most to me are when students say I'm their favorite teacher or that I finally helped them understand a subject they’ve always struggled with. That’s the real gold. My proudest accomplishments are always rooted in student growth and connection.

My own education history

I attended a technical high school where I earned certifications as a Medical Assistant and Nursing Assistant. I later shifted paths to pursue my passion for education and earned my Bachelor's degree in English Education. My background in both science and humanities helps me connect with students across subjects.

Additional biographical information

I’m a proud Puerto Rican, bilingual teacher who’s lived in sunny Florida for most of my life now. I started in the medical field but found my true passion in the classroom, where I get to blend creativity, empathy, and academic rigor. When I’m not teaching, I’m probably creating digital content on Canva (my favorite side hustle), planning my next classroom transformation, or diving into a good book.
