Literature Circles are a great way to foster a love a reading while allowing the teacher to control the books chosen and make students accountable for what they have read. Lit Circles can be used as a supplement to an anthology. They give the student the opportunity to read a full novel. This packet includes job sheets for each group member, helpful hints to make lit circles a success and a sample timeline to keep the students on track.
