This is a rubric that I use in my classroom during Reader's Workshop time. The students have to respond TWO times a week, but I only grade one a week with this rubric. It includes a part about pulling evidence from the text which directly aligns with the Common Core. It has worked out great with the students and the wording is very kid-friendly.

This product can be used with ANY subject area! You could make an ABC book about a content area for a formal assessment, or you could even use it to make a memory book of the school year! The students absolutely LOVE being able to write and then color pictures to show their individual thinking!

This product allows the students to track where they ended up on the clip chart each and every day. The attached file is editable, so you can change the "names" of each portion of your own individual clip chart! The students love coloring in their tracker sheets and showing parents where they ended up that day, It also helps with communication home to parents and guardians!

This is a great way to track if your students are reading each night as well as practicing their math facts! I collect these on Fridays to be sure that the parents have signed each night!
