Classifying Quadrilaterals Activity
This activity contains 20 cards which all show the same quadrilateral (looks like a square) but with different information marked on each one--congruent sides, parallel sides, congruent angles, congruent diagonals, etc. Students must then use their knowledge of the properties of quadrilaterals to classify the quadrilateral in the most specific manner possible. This activity encourages collaboration and mathematical dialogue.

Teaching style
I want my students to think critically and creatively when it comes to mathematics. I like to incorporate activities that ask students to make conjectures and defend their reasoning. I try to incorporate the same mindset when teaching by direct instruction. In general, I am laid back, approachable, and "quirky".
