Experience

I was a high school science educator for 7 years teaching primarily chemistry, but also teaching classes of physical science, physics, and biology. My current role in education is that of a high school administrator. I am member of the district technology and innovation teams and lead professional development sessions on educational technology throughout the school year.

Teaching style

I am a very hands-on teacher. I believe in providing functional and timely feedback to students (and teachers) in both an informative and respectful manner.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Presented on Educational Technology Classroom tools to the local area RESA and also the State of Georgia chapter of NASSP, the GASSP. I am a featured teacher on Educreations.com, a database instructional videos created by teachers across the country, and have over 35,000 views of my lessons. I was awarded the iPad pilot at my previous district, selected from a pool of close to 400 high school teachers.
