A lot of the time I use this for anything students turn in for their science journal. I find it to be very clear and I always pass this out at the beginning of each quarter so the students know what they expectation are before the quarter begins.

I did this activity with my class during my student teaching. It is really fun for the kids (you have do create bags of ice for the kids and make blue ice cubes). The kids get to experience heat transfer and reflect on it.
This lab can be used for many different purposes in science. I have left it has a word document so you can change it for your classroom. Many time I used it to find density and measuring the size difference when the gummy bears were placed in water.

I use this with my students when they are learning about prime factorization. You can use it as homework, classwork, pre-assessment, or pop question to review.
This is a good review for students reviewing for the metric system. I usually use it as a review session after school but it can be used during class as a review day. Kids always love a good jeopardy game.

This powerpoint is on the states of matter. I use this as an introduction to the states of matter to get the students engaged. You can edit the powerpoint to suit you. I use this to help start conversation inside the classroom also.
Students will be creating a booklet on the organ systems within the human body. It is in a word document so you can modify it for what fits you. I place the end results on my bulletin boards and the kids love it!
This is a great way to get to know your students on the first day! Even now, it would be a great way to get to know your students if you are a long term sub or you want to know more about your students!
Contains osmosis, diffusion, cells. Good for the test that I created for the students. Has a lot of information dealing with living things standards for 6th graders.

This is weekly quiz I give for percents. It is the beginning of percents (after starting ratios). It is a good test to see if they are understanding how to find an equivalent fraction with a denominator of 100.
Need notes on cells? Here is some of the best! I use this with the graphic organizer cell theory_parts of the cell I have too. The graphic organizer is free (if you buy this because it goes with this slide by slide).
This is a study guide that I used to review plants. If the students completed this study guide, they did great on the test. I placed it as a word Document so you could change it for your needs (depending on grade level). Enjoy!
I use this for my scientific method unit at the beginning of the year. I use this at the end of the year as a review too. It is very easy to change and use for another subject too.

I use this template for my students when we are watching Khan Academy videos. My students must write down everything on the video (including verbal ques) to help us with our note taking. I mostly use this for math but it is also useful for science.
