Experience

I worked as a math specialist and a 5th grade teacher for 4 years and have been teaching 4th grade for 7 years.

Teaching style

I like to have a balance between small group and whole group instruction in my classroom. My goal is to deliver the curriculum while at the same time instilling a love of learning in my students.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I feel that I am rewarded when my students tell me they love school and make gains during the year that they are with me.

My own education history

I have a undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math and a Master's degree in Reading.
