About the store
I have over 17 years experience both in regular and special education settings. For as long as I can remember I've wanted to be a teacher. When I was in elementary school, I would organize my "classroom" on my bedroom floor with folders for each of my "students". One of whom I corralled was my sister. She didn't particularly love it, but obliged me from time to time. Our family hosted several student teachers in our home when I was younger, and that fueled my passion even more. I would spend countless hours cutting out letters for their bulletin board displays (so thankful we don't have to do that too much any more!), and loved to create themes that I would one day have in my own classroom. Today we have more modern resources, and I have enjoyed creating teacher resources for the last 8 years or so on TpT.

This is a digital file that will help students with beginning sounds. There are 26 slides (one for each letter in the alphabet) with 3 letter choices on each slide. Students click and drag the correct letter sound into the box and when they're done, they share it with you so you can check their work. You can also choose to have them complete an answer sheet that goes along with the slides to turn in to you. Great for a quick assessment to see if students can hear and identify the beginning s

Three bonus pages are featured at the end for students to use to sort the booklet cards into sentence types (asking, telling, exciting). You can choose to bind the booklet or keep the card separate to use for the sentence sort (or make 2 copies!). Hope you enjoy! Christie

This packet was designed using Common Core Standards for 1st and 2nd grade. Depending on the level of your student, you may be able to use them in either grade (or in my case with special education, I can use them for even older students who are still learning the foundations). There are 28 pages of math worksheets, and each page comes both as a full color and black / white page. You can use a page a day, a page a week, or do columns or boxes per day. I tried to put some skills together bu
