This figurative language packet includes Alliteration, Idioms, Metaphors, Onomatopoeia, and Similes. It is excellent for introducing these language concepts or for a quick all in one review for state standardized testing. The worksheets are easy to follow and provide graphics to meet the needs of ELL/ESL, Special Needs, or any student. These language concepts are difficult for students, and I hope this makes it a lot easier in your classroom.

This is a fun graphing activity for Valentine's Day. Purchase the Sweetheart bag of individually wrapped hearts with 13-16 hearts in each. The students will use their candies to fill in the bar graph and then answer the questions based on their results. I have added some number sense questions and mode, median and range. My 3rd graders loved this and our Kinder Buddies were able to help with the basic graphing questions.
This banner consists of large circles with the letters that spell "welcome" each letter has a different pattern to color. ie bubbles, flowers, butterflies, stripes.
I colored mine with my school colors. It can also be used for guest speakers, grandparents day, and for any special occasion.
If your students color the letters it makes it even more special!
