About the store
Hey, there! Are you looking for fun and engaging resources for your new or struggling learners? Here the resources are focused primarily on helping new and struggling kindergarten and first grade students become successful in reading, writing, and math. I'm Cindy Montgomery, the resource creator, and a former Special Education teacher with 30+ years of experience. I taught kindergarten through fifth grade, resource and inclusion, with most of those years spent teaching in K-2. K-2 is where my passion for teaching really kicked in. I sometimes still find myself in teaching situations and enjoy working with students one-on-one. Although I'm no longer in the classroom, I try to keep up with current best practices through online teacher groups, podcasts, videos, and professional development. And I'd love to help you with what you need to help your students become successful. Just drop me a line on a Q&A on any of the product pages. :)

Teaching style

I loved to teach using my Promethean board and with other activities that kept the students focused and actively engaged in learning. Using skills based activities that kept them engaged, up out of their seat, were fun, but not just a time waster checked all the boxes!
