Experience

I have been in education since 1997, including both as a classroom teacher and an administrator. I have spent my entire career in Montessori, mostly in Upper Elementary (4th-6th grade), and most recently in administration.

Teaching style

Education is my passion, and as a Montessori educator, I believe in an individualized approach to teaching and learning. I believe in the use of hands-on activities and experiential learning to promote an understanding of concepts.

My own education history

I have a state teaching credential as a generalist for grades 4 - 8, as well as a math endorsement for the same grades. In addition, I have Montessori teaching credentials for Early Childhood (ages 3 - 6), Elementary I (grades 1 - 3), and Elementary II (grades 4 - 6).
